We ensure the safety and well-being of clients in every aspect of operations by conducting our services professionally with cultural sensitivity and in line with current legislation.
 

  • Stringent screening of all our workers via the Workers Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Criminal Check (NCC)

  • Compliance with the standards set by the NSW Office of Children Guardian (OCG) by maintaining our registration of a Specialised Substitute Residential Care (SSRC)

  • Only engaging staff that we have gained Authorisation from the NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR) We are implementing our Standards of Care by ongoing supervision of workers and policy development. Engaging staff who adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct.

 

This commitment is held with special regard to the lores and traditions of the Gumbaynggirr and Bundjalung nations as passed down from our elders. We promise to abide by the lores and customs of all Aboriginal nations and will always seek permission from our elders in all our cultural practices.

DCJ: The Department of Communities and Justice works with children, adults, families and communities to deliver services with a unified and collaborative approach with the objective of achieving a vibrant, sustainable and inclusive community.
 

SSRC: The specialised substitute residential care (SSRC) register is a secure online database that records information about children or young people in care and the organisations who provide or supervise that care.
